HiPoLIS: High Power Laser Intensity Stabilizer
High intensity laser stabilization
For the intensity stabilization of lasers, the Photonics Laboratory at ETH has developed an High Power Laser Intensity Stabilizer. The HiPoLIS is a compact electronic box with an high power optical detector based on InGaAs photodiodes.
The current specification of the High Power Laser Intensity Stabilzer:
- Shot-noise limited detection at 100 kHz
- Bandwidth 10 MHz
- PI Output
- Max. Power 250mW
- Intensity stable to 1 part in 30 million
- Noise floor of -150 dB/Hz
