Quantum Walks- from Integrated Photonics to Cold Atoms

This talk will describe the theoretical study and experimental implementation of Quantum Walks—the quantum mechanical analogue of classical random walks – and how they can be used to simulate condensed matter systems and implement new quantum information schemes.
