Monte Verità 2015
Quantum Systems and Technology
June 7 - 12, 2015
Centro Stefano Franscini, Monte Verità, Ascona, TI
Continuous progress in the technological advances in electronics and optics today allow for the isolation, control, and manipulation of individual quantum objects, atoms, electrons, spins, and photons. While this opens the way to experimentally explore fundamental issues in quantum mechanics and its relation to our classical world, we are now entering the stage where quantum engineering becomes relevant in the construction of fist computational machines.
