Junior Meeting 2022

June 7-10, 2022 Flumserberg

Organizers: Elias Portolés, Petar Tomic, Alban Morelle (Nanophysics group, ETH Zürich)

The idea of the Junior Meeting is to give junior members (PhD students) of NCCR QSIT the opportunity to present topics of their field in an introductory way and to encourage scientific exchange with their young colleagues. Each group is encouraged to send at least one junior member to the conference, more are welcome.

The 2022 QSIT Junior Meeting took place in the beautiful location of Flumserberg. It was the first presential edition in three years and also the last one of NCCR QSIT. Therefore, it was open to more senior PhD students too.

During four days, the 53 participants had the chance to present their work in a 20 minutes talk and during 2 poster sessions (please see the program). Relaxed evenings as well as a morning of water leisure on the beautiful Walensee provided an excellent opportunity to exchange and socialise.

The booklet with all the abstracts of the talks can be found Downloadhere (PDF, 4.2 MB).

Congratulations to the winners of the best talk and best poster awards!

Best poster: Sebastián Guerrero Soriano (Spin Physics Group, ETH Zürich)
