We warmly welcome the new and the experienced female faces in the QSIT network and we are happy to inform you about the start of a new endeavour:

QSIT Women Networking!

What?

A community of women scientists that meets regularly, supported by the QSIT network and open to all women researchers.

For those of you who are wondering how it works: generally a small group of scientists in physics and other related research fields ("the more the merrier") meets over lunch (and maybe also a coffee!) to discuss both academic and non-academic issues in a relaxed setting!

Why?
To sit together informally, meet each other, build a strong network, to share information and experience on how to navigate through a scientific career, to share success and failure stories, to increase awareness of gender issues and stereotypes.

When?
Once a month, at the alumni lounge or the chemistry mensa, for lunch or after work.

Next Meeting:
When: November 29, 2022
Where: We meet at the entrance of Coop at 11:55 and will go to the Physics mensa where we have reserved a table.

This event is open to all female researchers!! Bring your friends along, even if they are not within QSIT.

More networking:
In order to facilitate more spontaneous informal meetings, we have created a private facebook group, please do join:

We hope to see many of you soon!
